We understand that COVID-19 is having a serious impact on the lives of women who sell/exchange sex. Below you can find information on key services in GREATER GLASGOW AND CLYDE who are able to provide support with housing, money, food, sexual health, and wellbeing.

Housing, Energy & Money

Food

  • Glasgow NW Foodbanks – Blawarthill and Ruchill Kelvinside remain open. Get in touch with a CLiCK worker for advice on how to be referred
  • Glasgow SW Foodbanks – Ibrox Parish Church and Hillington Parish Church remain open. Get in touch with a CLiCK worker for advice on how to be referred
  • Glasgow NE Foodbanks – Calton Parkhead Parish Church remains open Mon+Thurs 2-4pm. Get in touch with a CLiCK worker for advice on how to be referred
  • Glasgow SE Foodbanks – Govanhill remains open. Get in touch with a CLiCK worker for advice on how to be referred
  • Connect Community Trust – Food, welfare advice and prescription service in the G33 area on 07515853113
  • Inverclyde Foodbank – the i58 project – Food bank based in Greenock. Get in touch via phone or email to get a foodbank voucher
  • Bellville Community Garden – Community Garden delivering food boxes to those in self-isolation who can’t access a delivery (e.g. no credit card, funds, internet access, friends/family to deliver)
  • Inverclyde Council – Still providing free school lunches while schools are shut
  • West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare – Foodbank distribution centres are currently closed to public but is now providing a delivery service. Call 01389 764135 to discuss needs or email you can also find up to date information on their facebook
  • East Dunbartonshire Foodbank - Get in touch with a CLiCK worker for advice on how to be referred; email or call 07425134131
  • Food for Thought, Dumbarton – Contact 01389 734514 for the latest information
  • Destiny Church – Assistance provided to those in need. Call in 0141 616 6777 or email reception@destiny-church.com
  • Faifley Foodshare – Check their Facebook page for the regular updates on food parcels or email triciafaifleyevent@hotmail.com

Sexual Health

  • Sandyford – Must have an appointment to attend. Call 0141 211 8130 if you believe your circumstances are urgent (See link for advice on urgent services)
